I love when creative gusts of wind come along and lift me off my feet in a fit of inspiration. But gusts come and go. When they go, I might come tumbling down if it weren't for my garden. It always gives me a soft place to land. De-slug. Strum and hum. Until the next wind...

I’m a dabbler at heart. When the pandemic hit, I picked up a guitar and began teaching myself to play. I also learned the basics of recording (thanks to GarageBand For Dummies), and how to make videos for my songs. I was so preoccupied, and time passed so quickly, that I hardly noticed being in lockdown, or that the sun was shining. Home is where the heART is.

Whether I’m working on a project, tending the garden, or pretending I sing like a songbird, my favorite thing is starting the day when the sky is still dark, cup of coffee in hand, and feeling grateful.
